
Salena Streenz
OWNER/DIRECTOR
Salena Streenz has been dancing since the age of seven. She grew up in the studio performing, competing and student teaching. She was a member of the World Famous Tyler Junior College Apache Belles 50th and 51st line performing all over Texas. After college, Salena moved to Dallas and opened her own studio in Carrollton teaching all styles of dance to all ages. Salena served as the director of the Carrollton Christian Academy Angel Dance Team and then directed the Prestonwood Christian Academy Lionette Drill Team until a job transfer took her and her family to Southern California. During her time in California, she trained with some of the top instructors in the L.A. area and directed the Saddleback Church Dance Ministry. She performed as a soloist alongside television and music industry talents in holiday shows, charity concerts and special events. Salena taught dance in Frisco for seven years before opening All Out Dance Academy.
Salena brings more than 35 years of dance experience and 29 years of teaching experience, as well as extensive studio management and performance company direction experience to All Out Dance Academy.
Salena and her husband Shannon are proud parents of their two beautiful daughters Sydney and Savannah.

Abby Mitchell
OWNER
Abby Mitchell has been in the sports floor construction business for the past 20 years. She now runs her family business, Ponder Company, Inc., which specializes in Elite Dance and Athletic flooring. She graduated from Texas Christian University, and started out her career selling and designing commercial kitchens, where her love of construction started. In 2002, she made the move to her family business where her father taught her everything about the company. Ponder Company partners with Robbins Sports Flooring, who has an entire team of people that research and develop elite dance and sports flooring systems. Her passion is protecting athletes through the surfaces that they train on.
Abby brings more than 20 years of dance and sports flooring experience and knowledge to All Out Dance Academy. She also brings over 10 years of experience of being “Dance Mom” to the table. Abby and her husband Ryan are proud parents of their four beautiful daughters Kaylee, Westley, Sydney and Lizzie.


Miss Hailey
Hailey studied jazz, ballet, lyrical, tap and won various awards from dance competitions and conventions. She graduated from Lake Travis High School in Austin, Texas where she was a two-year member and senior lieutenant of the 36th line of the Cavalettes dance and drill team. Hailey is a graduate of Tyler Junior College where she received her Associates of Fine Arts degree in dance. While enrolled at Tyler Junior College, she was a member of the 72nd line of the Apache Belles dance team and a founding member and secretary of the Chi Tau Epsilon dance organization. She is currently attending The University of North Texas in Denton working towards her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance. Hailey is thrilled to share her love of dance with all of the students at All Out Dance Academy.

Miss Colleen
Colleen's love of dance began at the age of three. She danced competitively through grade school winning numerous awards and scholarships at conventions and competitions. Colleen also participated in competitive and high school cheerleading where she served as both JV and Varsity captain. She is a Texas Tech University graduate with a BA in Dance and a BA in Advertising. In college, she was President of Dancers With Soul Hip Hop Dance Team and a member of the University Dance Company. Now, she is a Dance Teacher and Drill Team Director in Prosper ISD.
Colleen has trained extensively in jazz, hip hop, modern, ballet and tap. She loves to explore the physics of dance while staying in touch with a somatic approach. She believes dance is an important form of communication and expression and hopes to share her passion with students and the community.

Miss Colleen is such a chill,funny,fun teacher! I love her because she always makes her combos so much fun and whenever we make a mistake, she picks us back up and doesn't get mad! Instead, she knows we were trying and repeats the combination! I am so excited that she is doing our lyrical dance this year! Overall, I love Miss Colleen and I hope you love her as much as I do!
MERYL H.

Ms. Ashley
Ashley started dancing at age 3 in all classical genres and later trained with Missy Crain Dance Studios in Monroe, LA. becoming Mrs. Crain’s Assistant. She also performed as a Principal Dancer in the studio with leading roles in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Peter Pan’s Adventures in Neverland, and the Pas de Deux in Hansel and Gretel. Ashley also danced solos in Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Alice in Wonderland. She was a Senior Performing Company member of this Award-Winning Competition Squad and performed at The Miss Louisiana Pageant and Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. She attended many dance conventions such as Tremaine, LADF, NYCDA, Showbiz, LA Dance Magic, West Coast Dance Explosion, and was awarded a summer-long scholarship to Tremaine Dance Studios in Los Angeles, CA. and also named LA Dance Magic’s “Magic Performer”. Ashley was a soloist and Artist in Residence for Twin City Ballet Company in Monroe, LA for 8 years under the direction of Linda Lavender Ford. She danced major roles in The Nutcracker, Rudolph, Scrooge, The Messiah, Peter and the Wolf, and Don Quixote. She regularly attended the Regional Dance America Ballet Festival held all over the Southern states, performed at many of their Gala events, and won several scholarships there, including a full scholarship to Joffrey Ballet Summer Intensive Program. She was selected by Dance Magazine for a scholarship to the Craft & Choreographers Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah and was a chosen member of a performing group for the USA International Ballet Competition held in Jackson, MS. Other professional experience includes performing on CBS This Morning, Soloist and Principal Dancer for Louisiana Delta Ballet Company in Monroe, LA and Ballet Instructor for their Junior Company members. Ashley is a certified Ballet Teacher with Southern Association of Dance Masters.

Mrs.Ashley is always there for us when we need her! She always helps us learn and grow and helps us with old things also. Whenever we do something wrong, she doesn't get mad! Instead she tells us that we are doing it wrong and we learn from it! She also is a great teacher because she gives us great choreography! She is a super nice teacher and always does what's best for us. She cares and loves us and will always be there for us. She is always going to be one of the most lovable teachers. Ms. Leslie

Leslie is a native Texan and graduate of Dallas’ Skyline High School. While dancing on her high school drill team she discovered her love for performing and her passion for teaching. She has since spent the last 29 years performing and teaching dance throughout the U. S. as well as France, Germany, and Switzerland. Her dance training began at the age of 5, at Mary Lois School of Dance. Her career has since developed into a professional career with such credits as performing for the National Football League, National Basketball Association, National Soccer League, the Major Indoor Soccer League and Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing Arts. Leslie’s involvement with professional sports began in 1990 when she was selected as one of the 36 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders from a field of over 300. In 1991, Leslie began dancing for the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and she continued entertaining basketball fans as a Dallas Mavs Dancer for the next five years, receiving recognition in 1996 as the Dallas Mavs Dancer of the year and Dancer with the most positive influence in 1997. Leslie joined the dance team for the Dallas Burn, Dallas’ outdoor soccer team which ultimately morphed into FC Dallas. She was the founding Co-Director of the professional dance team for the MISL Dallas Sidekicks as well as the founding Director of the NBA D-Leagues Texas Legends Dancers in Frisco, Texas. She regularly choreographs award winning routines throughout Texas and the U. S. She often serves as a guest instructor and professional adjudicator for MA Dance, Crowd Pleasers, Spirit Celebration, Half-Time Entertainment (HTE) & Encore. Leslie has served as Director, Manager, Instructor and Cheer team Director at several studios in the area over years. Leslie has been married to her husband Scott for 25 years and resides in McKinney, Texas and is the proud mother of 22 year old daughter, Madison, and 20 year old daughter, Kennedy.

Ms. Kristina
Mrs. Kristina is a Dallas native who fell in love with dance at an early age. Her mother introduced her to musicals and her love of dance exploded from there. She attended Lake Highland High School where she was a member of the award-winning Highlandettes and fell in LOVE with drill team and that fostered her continued study of dance even more. She graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Journalism and Broadcast Management. While she was there, she taught dance at two studios, took dance at another local studio, and choreographed for her sororities “SING” event each year. She has been a dance teacher and cheer coach since she was 17 years old. She was an inaugural cheerleader for the Western Professional Hockey League and has coached many award-winning cheer and dance teams. She was a senior staff member for HalfTime Entertainment (HTE) and has choreographed and judged throughout the DFW and Central Texas area. She also teaches at Wakeland High School where she is the journalism and photojournalism teacher and yearbook adviser; as well as the varsity cheer coach. She and her husband Kyle have been married for 25 years, and have two children, Ashleigh, a member of the AODA Senior Company, who is 18, and Evan (her little athlete in about every sport) who is 14. Mrs. Kristina is SO excited to be teaching and working with the company at AODA. “It’s exciting to see something grow from the ground up - and I’m blessed to be a part of it.”
Miss Dana

From Atlanta, Georgia, Miss Dana fell in love with dance at age 8 at North Georgia Dance and Music Factory, where she started her dance training, and where she eventually became Assistant Dance Director. Dana has since trained at Dance FX in Athens, GA and Kirkland Dance Center in Kirkland, WA. She has attended American Ballet Theatre's Summer Intensive and taken countless dance classes across the country and abroad. Dana has performed at Atlanta's Pride Festival and also in Bad Book's music video "You Wouldn't Have to Ask”. Miss Dana taught many different styles of dance in Atlanta, at both North Georgia Dance and Music Factory and The Studio Atlanta Dance.
While finishing her bachelors degree at DePaul University in Chicago, she coached competition teams at Lisa’s School of Dance and Elite Dance Company in the Chicagoland area, specializing in Jazz and Lyrical and earning many Top 10 Placements and Judge’s Choice Awards for her choreography.
Miss Dana loves animals almost as much as she loves to dance, and volunteers regularly at the Dallas Zoo. She also loves her two dogs, Willow and Maple (but has more pets!) and her husband, Ian.

Ms. Sharlene
Innovative and experienced, Sharlene Sabonis is a graduate of California State East Bay with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Dance. She currently holds a Texas teaching certificate in Dance and Physical Education. Additionally, she is a certified yoga instructor with an extensive background in fitness. Sharlene started dancing at a young age. Trained in Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Lyrical, and Contemporary genres, she used her training and her love for dance to perform with numerous dance companies in Northern California. During her performance career she danced with several bay area dance companies such as Savage Jazz Dance Company, City Slam Hip Hop Troupe, and Visual Rhythm Dance Company. She is an experienced dance teacher with over 20 years in secondary education. Her experiences as a dance educator include the role as dance director, dance team coach, and co-lead of a Performing Arts Academy. She has created, choreographed, and taught dances for school dance concerts and community performances. Past musicals that she has choreographed include The Pajama Game, Urinetown, Guys and Dolls, Grease, A Musical Review, and The Lion King, Sharlene is excited to be a part of a team of dance teachers helping to inspire, motivate, and develop well rounded dancers.

Yesterday was middle school drill team try-outs and I wanted to share the GREAT news.. Ava made it!! I just wanted to personally thank Ms. Sharlene for all of her help! She really encouraged my daughter and Ava has learned so much from her. Having Ava take this class was the best decision ever!

Ms. Tori
Tori began dancing at age 4. She danced as an officer on her middle school drill team as well as 4 years on her high school drill team and 2 years as an officer. Tori received a full dance scholarship to Ranger College, where she served as Co-captain her freshman year and Captain her sophomore year. Tori has danced on stages in Las Vegas, Disney World, Louisiana, and New Mexico. She began her career as a choreographer in middle school, and found her passion for creating stories through music early on.
Tori earned a degree in Elementary Education from Texas A&M Commerce, and now teaches in a local elementary school. Loving to teach children, teens, and adults gives her the opportunity to share her passion every day. Significant experience with drill team, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary prepared her to teach 3 year old to adults. She LOVES sharing her passion of dancing with her students and believes that it’s a perfect way to express emotions.
Tori has spent the past 10 years working with competitive soloists, duos, small groups and large groups. Watching her students grow as dancers and as individuals is what drives her passion!

Ms. Shelly
Ms. Beckelman began her dance training at a very young age with the Nona Boohner School of Ballet, where she quickly learned the love of dance. In her early years, she trained with many well known schools in the Dallas – Ft Worth area such as Etgen-Atkinson Ballet School, home of the Dallas Metropolitan Ballet. Director Ann Etgen served on the Dance Panel of the Texas Commission on the Arts and Humanities and National Association Regional Ballet, Southwest Regional Ballet Association (membership chairman 1986-1987). Bill Atkinson and Ann Etgen both held offices in Regional Dance American/Southwest. Ms. Beckelman has studied Russian and Cecchetti as well as Royal Academy of Dance. She has extensively studied ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical and theatre dance, as well as drill team and cheerleading. She was awarded a ballet apprentice scholarship at the age of thirteen at Brookhaven College, School of the Arts, where she studied ballet and pointe under the direction of Key Meersman, which deepened her passion for performing. She continued her training throughout high school and was named Captain of the Drill Team in Plano, Texas producing award winning choreography through Superstar Drill Team Association – Southern Methodist University. Ms. Beckelman then began her teaching career in Plano, Tx while dancing with a local professional ballet company in North Dallas. She carried on the role of Cheer Commissioner with Upward Sport, a national sports association, performing with the Texas Legends. Throughout her dance career, Ms. Beckelman performed in numerous productions and has had many leading roles, both classical and original pieces. She has focused her teaching on ballet and pointe for various schools in the Dallas – Ft. Worth area for many years, as well as being a faculty member for the Texas Ballet Theater School (Artistic Director - Ben Stevenson O.B.E. and Principal - Lyndette Galen). Throughout her career Ms. Beckelman has been fortunate enough to train with many well- know master instructors who have influenced both her dancing and teaching careers. Her main focus today is to provide excellent training and education and instill a love for the art and beauty of dance in each of her students.

Miss. Gracen
Miss Gracen began her dance journey at the age of 7. With her new found passion of the arts she jumped right into the competition circuit and started training intensely in all genres of dance. She is trained in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Musical Theatre, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Modern, Ballroom and Acro. She loves all genres of dance but her true passion is for Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Jazz. She’s had the pleasure of choreographing and teaching at different studios all across the DFW metroplex. Throughout the years she has been awarded numerous titles and acknowledgments from the competitive stage, both for her dancing and choreography. She has had the pleasure of working with many world known teachers & choreographers such as Travis Wall, Al Blackstone, Mandy Moore, Stacy Tookey, and many more. She has a heart for teaching and loves to see the light in a child’s eyes when they discover their love for dance!
When she’s not dancing at the studio, Gracen is still entertaining and caring for children through the party entertainment company she founded; Reign Royal Parties.
Gracen loves being a dance instructor and is overjoyed in getting to know and love all of her students, and help them discover their passion!
